[/div] Something in the Way she Moves Lily had been had been in the Hospital Wing for about three days now. Yes, Lily was alive and not very many people knew this. In fact everyone probably thought that she was dead well every except Poppy and Minerva and maybe Dumbledore too, as he had a knack for knowing just about everything. Poppy because Lily was currently under her care, being in the Hospital wing and all and Minerva because that's who had found Lily, at least that's who Lily thought had found her.
Of course Lily had been unconscious the entire time and she still was, so she wasn't sure who it was that had found her and Harry, or about anything that happened after she was knocked out. Yes, Harry was there too in another bed, only he was sleeping. Unlike Lily he wasn't harmed though and he was conscious too Oh, Yes the Dark Lord would be pissed, if he was even still alive that is. Lily wouldn't know anything about the outside world until she woke, if she woke....

I just can't take anymore This life of solitude Severus had been at Hogwarts for the last few weeks preparing for his first hear as potions professor. It wasn’t exactly the title he had wanted but he wasn’t exactly going to argue with Dumbledore at the moment. It was part of the agreement he’d had with Dumbledore after agreeing to turn spy for the Order even though no one but the two of them really knew that. A choice he made simply because the Dark Lord had decded to go after Lily’s son, honestly though Severus really only cared about Lily. His appointment as Potions professor he knew had taken a couple of weeks for some of the other professors to get use to, he wasn’t exactly secretive throughout his schools as to what path he was on. But he seemed to have settled in quite nicely. That was until he’d heard what happened at the Potter residence. A scene he’d visited, on request of Dumbledore to assess the damage after Minerva had sent for help.
Severus like the majority of the wizarding world was under the impression that Lily hadn’t survived the attack nor had the Dark Lord, though it seemed her son had. And it seemed Dumbledore new the perfect way to get Severus to keep an eye on him though at the moment that just meant making sure the remaining Death Eaters wouldn’t be seeking revenge. A job he was hesitant to do until he was informed the boy had his mother’s eyes. Of course Severus would not be all that pleased with Dumbledore when he found out Lily was actually still alive. But for now he was just helping Madame Poppy out n the hospital wing replenishing things while she awaited her usual staffs return from summer holiday. While the woman stepped out for a moment he was left n charge of keeping an eye on things and placing fresh linen on all of the beds. Finishing up with the final bed, not expecting a certain redhead to be behind the curtain when he pulled t back to place the clean sheets on the foot of the bed. ------------------------------------------------- |

[/div] Something in the Way she Moves Lily was still out cold when Severus pulled back the curtain, so she had no idea what exactly what was going on around her.She stayed that way for a few seconds or so longer. She eventually started moving after those few seconds and slowly started opening her eyes though. The first thing she did was start to panic because she had no idea where she was. Even though she'd been in the Hospital Wing in the castle many times before in the past, she wasn't really thinking rationally at the moment Her mind couldn't seem to grasp the fact that she and Harry were both safe. No, her mind was still on the attack and on Harry.
Where was Harry? It took her a minute or so to call down. It wasn't until she seen that her son was safe and fast asleep was she able to relax a little bit. Okay, so they were safe...for now. Lily had no idea that the Dark Lord was gone. She turned to Severus. "Where am I?" she asked quietly, still not recognizing her surroundings. It may be silly considering she'd been in Hogwarts time and time again over the past ten or so years and one would think she'd know her way around the castle. It's just that everything that had happened in the past few days was just way to much for her. She did however recognize Severus.

I just can't take anymore This life of solitude Severus wouldn’t have given the patient much of a second thought had she not had red hair. It was uncommon for Severus’ attention to wandering to a woman who was passing by if she had the right colour red though it was always disappointing when he realized it was just another woman how happened to share Lily’s hair colour and nothing more. This time though when he took a second a wave of shock ran over him. He had been certain she’d died, though there wasn’t a body in Godric’s Hollow but he also knew the Dark Lord didn’t just kill people via the killing curse. He couldn’t help the fact that he was staring at her the entire time she was unconscious. Severus was also having a silent debate about whether or not he should actually stick around or he should just leave and wait for the other’s to deal with her when she woke up, that was sounding a bit better, he wasn’t completely sure where they stood.
Severus didn’t get much time to debate what he should do when he saw that she was starting to stir and then he could see her starting to panic, not that he really blamed her. His head turned towards her infant son as he assumed she was looking. It was too late for him to disappear out of site now, she’d turned her green eyes on him and he froze slightly. He was feeling a bit guilty concerning the attack on her and her sons, and maybe if you dug deep enough, very deep he felt a bit sorry for James, maybe. “Hospital Wing, in Hogwarts.” Severus said a moment or two, maybe several after she spoke to him shaking him out of his little stupor, the leftover linen still in his hands, a stark contrast to the black robes he was wearing, what he always worth. ------------------------------------------------- |

[/div] Something in the Way she Moves When Severus said she was in the Hospital wing of Hogwarts, she was able to relax a little more, well as much as she could anyway. There was still the problem of a Dark Lord who was after her son after all. She still didn't exactly understand why though. What would he gain from it? Harry was just a baby after all. Why, would someone go after a helpless baby. The bottom line was that she was safe though. Hogwarts was one of the safest places, aside from Gringotts that is. She knew she had nothing to worry about just yet."Oh..okay. That's good then. I wasn't sure where I was at first" she said quietly with a small nod.
She looked over at Severus and bit her lip a little, unsure of what exactly to say. She hadn't really spoken to him for...well awhile. Come to think of it, She wasn't even sure how long it's been since they last talked. She knew there had been a few times after fifth year, but not like how they used to talk. In fact sometimes it seemed as if she was still angry at him for calling her a Mudblood. The truth was deep down she knew she'd forgiven him, but saying it out loud, to him was a completely different thing. Saying it out loud meant that he could hurt her again. Pretending she was still angry was just far more easier than admitting otherwise. "Do you..um. now how long I've been out?" she asked, unsure if he would know the answer to that or not.

I just can't take anymore This life of solitude Severus knew more about the seemingly odd attack on Lily, James and young Harry then he assumed most other people, though Dumbledore was aside from the Dark Lord wherever he was at the moment the only ones that truly knew the part that Severus had played. He had done his best to try and undo it but he could only do so much, the rest had been left up to the order. He would never tell anyone though how he was mixed up into this and he knew Dumbledore wouldn’t either. Actually if it wasn’t for that man he was sure he’d have found his way into a cold dreary cell in Azkaban simply for identifying as a Death Eater for that length of time. “I’m sure it would be a bit disorientating at first.” He commented a bit quietly.
Severus shifted slightly on his feet after silence took them over once again. He almost felt like the kid he was when he was attending Hogwarts. He hadn’t been expecting to revert back to that shy, awkward boy he’d gotten away from in the last few years but apparently standing here in front of Lily brought it out in him once again. Severus tried to snap himself out of it but so far it wasn’t working. She also brought to the surface the fact that he was still carrying around a fair amount of guilt. “A couple of days, no more then um a week.” Severus told her. Of course he knew the answer to that, he’d known the precise day the attack on her house had been and knowing what day it was today made it easy for him to deduce the amount of time she’d been out.
